Work Background/Accomplishments: Prior to joining Logical Media Group, I worked as a Project Analyst at Corporate Executive Board. I helped design and implement large scale corporate employee engagement surveys serving industries ranging from pharmaceuticals, software, technology, HR, telecommunications, and more.

Hobbies/Interests: Watching, playing, and tracking any and all sports (fantasy and reality). The outdoors, fishing, fast cars, & country music.

Describe your role at LMG/Ocean and what you enjoy about it: I am a hybrid PPC & SEO consultant with a majority of my time being spent on PPC. I manage anywhere from 7-12 AdWords accounts each day from a variety of industries including real estate, e-commerce, shipping & logistics, healthcare, home improvement, financials, PR and more. I love being able to work with large sets of marketing data. Whether it’s how a batting average describes a ball player, or how a cost per click can help ROI, I have always loved being able to tell stories with numbers. My role with LMG gives me access to the coolest real world applications of statistics, economics, and marketing than I could ever imagine. I really feel like I am helping grow not only Logical Media, but each of my clients as well. Watching each of them grow their sales base and increase their profitability is really exciting.

Why did you choose to work at Logical Media Group: I was in my previous role at CEB for 2 years, and while I learned a tremendous amount from a lot of smart people, it was clear to me that I could not make a long term career there. I was feeling burned out, and like my impact on the company was inconsequential. I wanted a genuine career change to a path where I knew the long term potential was there. I had been workings independently for about 5 months when I came across Logical, and I could tell right away they were different from any other company I had experienced. The Chicago River North start up culture was very apparent, and I just loved it. The company was young, still relatively small on its surface, but they were growing extremely fast. It was clear to me that this was a company that I could make a serious impact and help drive them forward, and I feel that’s what has happened. We are now on the Inc. 5000 list, and I think joining Logical was the greatest career decision I could ever make.

How did Logical Media Group impact your personal and professional development: Logical gave me the ability to apply what I had been learning from school and past jobs in a real and more impactful way. In the past, I might have been able to learn a skill at one job, but it was
