Work Background/Accomplishments: I interned for various startups during college doing many different things, and after graduation I worked in recruiting and sales for about a year and a half before pursuing a role within digital advertising.

Any Pets: Two cats – Pandora and Meeko! I have been told by multiple people that Pandora is the fattest cat that they have ever seen, while Meeko is a forever-kitten at 5 lbs despite being 4 years old.

Hobbies/Interests: Cooking is my ultimate happy place. I love cooking, especially for large groups of people. My trick is cooking dishes that are easy to make but taste “fancy.” I also love writing, thrifting, and curling up on the couch to read a good book while snuggling with my cats.

Describe your role at LMG/Ocean and what you enjoy about it: I partner with businesses across a variety of industries to help them exceed their goals through paid search advertising. Paid search challenges both my analytical thinking and creative skills, which is exciting. On top of that, each client I work with has a totally different story, so I love learning about and really understanding each one. Last but not least, I enjoy collaborating with my teammates. Everyone at LMG is super friendly, encouraging, and resourceful!

Favorite Chicago bar/restaurant: I love food so much that it would be difficult to pick just one. Off the top of my head, I like going to Phoenix in Chinatown for dim sum, The White Palace Grill for chicken and waffles, Russian Tea Time for their borscht and cabbage rolls, and Oiistar for ramen.

Favorite Sports Team: I am the most sports un-savvy person ever. Pass!

Books You Are Currently Reading: I’m currently re-reading “White Noise” by Don DeLillo and “The Crying of Lot 49” by Thomas Pynchon. I’m also a sucker for hard-boiled detective novels so I love any and all works written by Raymond Chandler or Dashiell Hammett.

Favorite Movie: That’s also a really tough pick. Generally I love thrillers and horror films, but watching “Love Actually” with my mom over the winter holidays is a tradition and one of my favorite things to look forward to.

Surprising fact about yourself:  I am left-handed!

Why did you choose to work at Logical Media Group: I chose to work at Logical Media Group for quite a few reasons. I wanted to join a dynamic, ever-growing team comprised of fun, hardworking individuals who share a curiosity for the digital world and a passion for helping businesses. Also, as someone who has had experience working with larger corporate environments, I wanted to work at a place where I could build closer, more hands-on relationships with my clients and teammates and really make an impact.

How did Logical Media Group impact your personal and professional development: This is only my first week here, but so far what I love most is how fast-paced and innovative the group is and how awesome the people are. The team is tight-knit and close with each other, which I really appreciate. Additionally, everyone is extremely supportive and welcoming of new ideas and initiatives.
