Vienna Beef is a brand entrenched in the culture of Chicago for over 130 years, with a loyal customer base and a presence in restaurants, hot dog stands, sports arenas and entertainment venues across the country. With a vast majority of their business coming through traditional sales, VB’s online business had grown 30% YoY since investing into digital and email marketing in 2014, but this growth had stagnated by 2016. The Challenge

Execute a comprehensive digital marketing campaign, focusing primarily on email marketing and improving VB’s email design, CTR’s, list segmentation, messaging, which in turn would increase online traffic, brand loyalty and e-commerce sales. The Approach

The Results

Taking a comparative approach, in the two years prior to engaging with Logical to the two years where Logical has fully managed their email marketing strategy, VB has seen a 307% increase in website traffic (sessions), 101% increase in revenue, 70% increase in online transactions and an average order value increase of 19%. Additionally, with our email marketing campaigns being supplemented by digital marketing strategies through PPC, Paid Social and Remarketing, VB has averaged 300 new subscribers per week over the last 12 months.

Logical has also created a custom graphic library for use in Vienna Beef’s email marketing and creative advertising campaigns, which influenced and dictated major components of their 2018 website redesign.
