Nickname (office nickname) or name you go by
Director of Account Management
What do you do at Logical? (What are your responsibilities, day to day, types of accounts, etc)
I make sure that my team of account managers are fully supported in pushing their clients and account teams toward success. I also work with our Leadership Team to constantly evolve and improve Logical’s services by collecting feedback from clients, and making sure it’s translated into our product offerings. And in my spare time – I manage my own client roster, push our team to be better holistic strategic partners, keep everyone honest on scopes and deliverables, and troubleshoot unique client or account needs that come up!
How long have you been here?
Over 2.5 years – almost 3!
What Logical value resonates most with you and why (Uplift, Commit, Teach, Be, Test, Communicate)
Anybody who knows me knows that it’s Communicate. With our clients, within our account teams, across our company, outside of work – if there’s one thing I’m doing, it’s communicating
Where is your hometown?
Sterling, Virginia (DMV rise up)
James Madison University, go Dukes
What are you most proud of accomplishing in your time here?
Building and maintaining relationships remotely (both with clients and internally) – I started when the COVID-19 pandemic did, and this was new, uncertain territory for everyone, which made it all the more daunting!
Do you have any pets?
I have no pets, but a house full of happy plants
What can you be found doing outside of work hours?
Cooking an unnecessarily elaborate meal, tending to my herb garden, orchestrating a park/picnic hang, exploring any Chicago neighborhood I haven’t yet and taking note of the best places to eat and drink
Favorite Chicago Bar / Restaurant
Reno in Logan Square is both a bar AND restaurant near and dear to my heart, but it’s impossible for me to choose – I’m obsessed with Chicago bars and food and keep a mental list of where I can take people at all times (please ask me about it, it’s my favorite thing to discuss).
Book(s) you are currently reading or types of books you like to read
I love a good fiction novel or well-written collection of short stories/personal essays – currently rereading Sing, Unburied, Sing by Jesmyn Ward and reading Trick Mirror by Jia Tolentino to satisfy both those needs
A quote you like to live by; life mantra
Always a lesson, never a failure
Favorite Sports Team
I don’t watch or try to understand sports, to the dismay of all my sports friends
I also am terrible at watching movies… to the dismay of all my film-loving friends… but if I had to make up an answer to this, it’s probably Heathers or The Princess Diaries
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I was a competitive dancer for over a decade before I made the harsh pivot to major in journalism, then another harsh pivot into marketing. Here we are!
Favorite place you’ve traveled (or want to travel)!
My dream travel list is too extensive for this survey, but take me back to Lisbon, Portugal any day
